Citywide has been recognised at the Civil Contractors Federation annual Training Awards, picking up the gong for Training Employer of the Year for Roads.

The awards, held at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, honour excellence in training for the civil industry.

Ray Farrell, Operations Leader for Melton Municipal Services, said the company was recognised for outstanding efforts and achievements in undertaking training and skills development at Melton.

“As managers of people, it is our privilege and responsibility to contribute to the professional development of our staff and to facilitate their journey with us as they grow their skills and capabilities,” Ray said.

“We have worked with our training partners to identify and develop the potential in Citywide employees with the vision to sustain our services into the future.

“The Civil Contractors Federation and training providers like Foresite Training have been integral to tailoring training packages to meet the various job functions and to provide development our future leaders within the business.

“It was an honour to stand in front of our peers in the Civil Construction industry to accept this award in recognition of the support that Citywide continue to extend toward their staff.”
